The temperatures are cooling down, especially at night, leading to pretty chilly morning temperatures. Nothing cures the chill like a great cup of coffee and an interesting and relaxing place to drink it.

Atticus, located at 738 Lower Main Street in Park City, is a feel good hang out for those who love to browse used books, shop for cool and unique gifts, support local business and enjoy great coffee and teas. I love the vibe of Atticus. You’ll want to hang out and drink in the atmosphere. Take the time to do so. Atticus also donates a percentage of sales each month to a local non-profit, giving back over $44,000 to the local community since they opened.

Pink Elephant, located at 509 Main Street, above Prospect, a hip boutique that also houses a stylish barber shop. Pink Elephant was started by a couple from Ohio who strive to purchase the best quality coffee beans from ethically sourced providers, organic and fair trade, whenever possible. Each cup of coffee is measured and beans weighed for quality control and consistency. Pink Elephant beans are roasted about 2 miles away at Ritual Chocolate on Ironhorse Drive. Where you can also enjoy Pink Elephant coffee along with sustainably and ethically sourced cocao beans and luscious homemade chocolate from around the world.

Stoked, located at 268 Main Street, next to O.P. Rockwell’s. Stoked is owned by ultra runner, Jax Mariash from Hood River, OR, which is where the beans are roasted. Organic, and carefully crafted for excellent quality, Stoked prides itself on preparing coffee drinks with the utmost care. Each cup is measured for the correct amount of coffee, the proper amount of milk, you get the picture. This is not mass produced brew and you can taste the difference. And the atmosphere is fab. Stoked opens us into an art gallery. Plenty of work space is provided for those who want to work and get elevated on caffeine at the same time. If you’re at the top of Main Street, Park City and need a jolt, Stoked is the place to go.

My final coffee stop was Ritual Chocolate, which I mentioned above. They serve Pink Elephant coffee, roasted on the spot. Watch Ritual make their luscious chocolate right through the window. Enjoy drinking chocolate, as well as coffee. Sample about 10 different kinds of chocolate from around the world. And during the holidays, you must order a peppermint mocha. The peppermint mocha at Ritual is the best mocha I have ever had. Made with homemade chocolate, Pink Elephant coffee and just the right amount of natural peppermint to blow your mind.
